TRENDING: ALLURE

As November comes to an end, there are a number of looks that were polished to perfection. Whether it was dewy or matte, make-up looked complete, it was professional and more importantly it was all about high saturation of colour, regardless of their neutral nature. The majority of these ladies had grey nails, either metallic, high-shine or semi matte in finish, fall trend in the Northern Hemisphere clearly. No need for NZer’s to follow that league, we’re hitting summer and with that comes brightly manicured hands and tootsies. In either case, enjoy the selection.

Lalaine Alano

To be honest I don’t know what skin type I have. I kinda just press my finger to my skin and if it feels oily I’ll get out the blotting paper, but I can’t tell the difference if it’s oily. I’m pretty sure it’s not oily, I have a feeling it’s probably dry to normal. Currently, I’m experiencing some dry patches, but I think it’s because I’m not looking after myself properly, at the moment. I think maybe I’m not drinking enough water, it probably doesn’t help with the social drinks you attend. I just never had the acne problem that other teenagers had. (Ed’s note – Lalaine, has amazing skin, it’s at this point in the interview that I was like, this girl, I want her pores. Non-existent pores. Clear glowing skin. Want. Want. Want.)

AWOL…

I PROMISE I’M HERE TO STAY!

It’s been some time since my last post! There have been a number of events that have taken place since my last post and I have found myself getting busier and busier! All in a good way of course. But while I’m here, I will be uploading a few posts that have gone under my radar out of sheer laziness and also because I simply have not had the time to do so. You know, you come home from work, you want a horribly mind numbing TV show, a slice of something that is artery clogging and a stiff drink? Well, that’s how busy I’ve been, especially since the holiday season beckons and the temperature rises (which, if you live in Auckland, we all know that that factor has been missing). Work is fabulous and everything else is just as rewarding, however I still need time to myself. But I digress, the absence was not permanent, I’m back and I’m here to stay.

Stay Beautiful xx

Emma Stone was on the red carpet for the UK premiere of The Help, which by the way is an amazing movie. She looked beautifully polished in Luca Luca and her make-up was IMMACULATE.
