Time Flies (Literally) & Upcoming Features

Tauranga from aboveYes, I am aware that I have been absent from this blog a little too long now. But like my title suggests I have been flying around the lower half of the North Island, attending my Postgraduate year at University (or College, for those of you in the Northern Hemisphere) and have been interviewing a number of beautiful people for my blog. Editing these interviews, however, have been taxing with having very little time on my VERY full plate. I can’t even imagine how I’m going to fit this in with a job, number of assignments and reviews and research for my dissertation.

I digress, I’m here people, I don’t want to disappoint you, but I will say that I have 2 very interesting feature articles with a former contestant from NZ’s Next Top Model and the beautiful face behind one of my FAVOURITE beauty boutique’s in Auckland, Glamorpuss Cosmetics. So stay tuned for those, they will be up on the 25th of March (most likely a night event).

FEATURE: Lalaine Alano, Stylist/ N Model Management

Lalaine Alano

To be honest I don’t know what skin type I have. I kinda just press my finger to my skin and if it feels oily I’ll get out the blotting paper, but I can’t tell the difference if it’s oily. Currently, I’m experiencing some dry patches, but I think it’s because I’m not looking after myself properly, at the moment. I think maybe I’m not drinking enough water, it probably doesn’t help with the social drinks you attend. I just never had the acne problem that other teenagers had. (Ed’s note – Lalaine, has amazing skin, it’s at this point in the interview that I was like, this girl, I want her pores. Non-existent pores. Clear glowing skin. Want. Want. Want.)
