REVIEW: BIODERMA Sebium H20

Laboratoire Dermatologique BIODERMA, is a specialist skincare institution based in Lyon, France. They have based all their products on scientific research and have continued to produce amazing high quality products that are effective and treat your skin, hair and scalp in accordance to your skin type and what you need. Teaming with professionals, scientists and dermatologists alike, BIODERMA’s product range is small but mighty.

I was finally able to get my hands on this cult skincare product in Europe. Bioderma’s Sensibio is often more popular than the Sebium H20,  having oily skin myself however, I am able to use this to target my problem areas. After a 2 month trial, which is something I recommend before keeping a product on the bathroom shelf, I was able to see the noticeable difference in oil production. I have slowly introduced this as a make-up remover and as a precleanse solution, because my skin has been going through a myriad of changes.

After 3 months of cataloguing the change in my skin tone and texture, I’ve decided that this product is here to stay. In all sincerity, it does its job. However, I will state that I will need to swap to the Sensibio, which is targeted to sensitive skin and doesn’t inhibit the sebum production, especially since my skin is becoming drier. A rating of 4 out of 5 stars for this product, finally something with clinical research and wasn’t exceedingly expensive.
