This video says it all.  BB creams, also known as Beauty Balm or Blemish Balm creams are extremely popular in the Asian market. The drawback is for darker skinned girls, that want a product like this. I can’t understand why they wouldn’t have formulas that cover a wider range of shades. It’s puzzling and plain annoying. Here is another product that may take a few years before us darker complexioned women can get our hands on something that seems both beneficial and well-rounded.

I know of a few Asian hotspots in Auckland that stock BB creams, but I’ve been told that the Korean brand Missha does the best formula, it’s located in these areas. I’ve tried a few out and they are all a tad pale for my olive-medium toned complexion. So, hopefully other shades from other companies aren’t far away. However, for you fairer beauties, try them out. Especially if you’re prone to acne, then this is ideal for you. Like the video claims, they are a skin care and cosmetic duo and are super beneficial for those with problem skin. No harm in trying, right?
