Jasmine is in her final year of a conjoint degree at the University of Auckland. Studying a BCom/LLB can be stressful to say the least, but she has a few products that help to keep her skin healthy and glowing without showing signs of lack of sleep! Upon arrival, Jasmine’s skin is fresh and youthful and it’s clear that above all things, skin-care is more of a priority than cosmetic masking.
My skin type is combination, the standard oily t-zone and quite dry cheeks. I guess in my early teenage years, a few pimples here and there, which I still get but it’s not like a huge acne breakout. So it’s the odd breakout, but not a problem for me.
My go to products, I need to keep to my daily routine, which consists of cleansing twice a day, tone and moisturise. I have to do them, regardless. I use Skinfood’s cleanser, and nourishing moisturiser and I tone with my Lush toner. I recently changed from Lush because I liked the paraben free notion that principle that Skinfood was going with. I haven’t noticed a huge difference, but I haven’t experienced any irritation, which is a good thing.
Twice a week I use the Skinfood exfoliation scrub and their mudmask. It’s a purifying mask, I haven’t reacted to it in any way, so I’m happy with it. My favourite makeup look is to look as natural as possible, if I want more drama I use eyeliner and maybe mascara but it’s not a big deal for me.
My style icon in general is Natalie Portman, I guess she has the same belief system and ideals that I too believe in.
